About the Test

ARCedtech, a pioneer in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), in partnership with SDG Choupal is pleased to announce the launch of All India Sustainability Champions Test (AISCT) for students of grades 7, 8 and 9. These awards will be open to students across India, providing the students a platform to showcase their knowledge and efforts towards a sustainable future. This will assist in development of knowledge on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and create Sustainability Champions across the country.

ARCedtech is a technology-first education company with a mission to make education meaningful and transformative. We have designed 360 degree solutions towards Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). These include SDG Handbooks for Students for grades 1 to 8 and SDG Workshops & Handbooks for Educators.

The SDGChoupal is a collective community initiative of Nagrik Foundation, launched at NITI Aayog, on Dec 20, 2019 supported by Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, Ministry of Social Justice Govt. of India, MSME Govt. of India, NSIC, RIS, TERI, UNHabitat, FICCI-ARISE India, CII India@75, WHO, UNESCAP, ONGC, GCNI in collaboration with many other stake holders. It is dedicated to support the national and state Governments, and institutions on advocacy and community engagement for SDG implementation in India.

Objective Of The Test

The objective of this test is to push for Agenda 2030. The intent is to create Sustainability Champions across the nation, who will have a ripple effect on all sections of the society. This initiative will encourage schools to take definitive steps towards Education for Sustainable Development, enabling the capacity building of teachers. It will also provide the students a platform to showcase their knowledge and efforts towards a sustainable future. At the same time, this will spread awareness about the SDGs in the parent community, who will take this knowledge to different sections of the society.

Conducting The Test

We have tied up with monitorexam.com to conduct AISCT. MonitorExam is a remote online proctoring solution for conducting exams for schools, colleges and olympiads. You must have already received an email from care@monitorexam.com regarding your email-ids and passwords. You can login and buy a practice test from the link provided in the dashboard. If someone has not yet received the mail please contact us.

Who Can Participate

All students studying in grades VII, VIII and IX are eligible to participate in this competition. Schools can enroll students for this competition from these 3 grades. Schools will also appoint one teacher who will be trained by ARCedtech on SDGs.

Selection Process And Fees

There will be NO registration fees to participate in the test.

Winners

All India ranks will be provided to all students and top 3 winners will receive medals and special mention on our social media and web portal.
All students with distinction will receive a ‘Sustainability Champion’ certificate.
